Couldn’t find your institution on the course equivalency search? You can request an unofficial evaluation of your credits by submitting an evaluation request and attaching your transcript(s). We can then send you an unofficial evaluation of your credits. Our unofficial evaluation request is intended for students seeking their first bachelor’s degree. Transcripts from countries outside the US are not eligible for unofficial evaluation; however, they will be evaluated upon admission with the submission of an official foreign credential evaluation.

Steps to Become an Aggie at NMSU Global Campus
Once you meet the admission requirements, you’re ready to start the transfer process. Depending on whether you’re joining us from another college or university, or from within the NMSU system, the steps vary slightly. Rest assured, our advisors will ensure everything goes smoothly.
Regular Transfer Students
- Apply to NMSU Global Campus
- Complete your FAFSA (NMSU school code: 002657)
- Submit your official transcripts or e-transcripts
In order to be considered official, transcripts must be emailed to admissions@nmsu.edu or mailed from each college or university you attended directly to NMSU:

If you’re transferring with financial aid, make sure to add the NMSU-Las Cruces school code, 002657, to your FAFSA. If you have questions, contact your financial aid advisor.
NMSU Transfer Students
Las Cruces, Alamogordo, Dona Ana, or Grants Campuses
- Fill out the corresponding Change of Campus form.
If you haven’t been enrolled in classes for more than two consecutive terms, you must apply to NMSU Global Campus as a Returning Student and meet the admission requirements, rather than submitting a Change of Campus form.
