Not only will you earn your degree faster and at a more affordable rate online, but transfer students can save time and money with our generous credit-transfer policy. Undergraduate students can transfer up to 90 credits by requesting an unofficial transcript evaluation. Graduate students have the opportunity to transfer credits this way too.

Admission Requirements
To transfer to NMSU Global Campus, you must be eligible to return to your last college or university, have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in your college courses, and have 24 completed credit hours at a non-military college/university.
If you have fewer than 24 completed college credits, you must fulfill the First Time Freshmen admission requirements. Courses taken for college credit while enrolled in high school are not counted toward the 24 credit hours.

Keep Your Aggie Spirit
If you’re transferring from an NMSU community college, you can start the process by submitting a Change of Campus form. If you haven’t been enrolled in classes for more than a year, you must first apply for readmission to the NMSU-Las Cruces campus. Undergraduate Admissions will verify your eligibility.
Once you’re admitted to NMSU Global Campus, you should make an appointment with the Center for Academic Advising and Student Support (CAASS). If you’re transferring with financial aid, make sure to add the NMSU-Las Cruces school code, 002657, to your FAFSA. If you have questions, contact your financial aid advisor.
