The online Master of Agriculture with a concentration in Agribusiness requires 33 credit hours to complete. Of those, 24 credits come from required core courses that build your expertise in business, finance, marketing, economics, and management within the agricultural sector.
With guidance from your Graduate Committee Chair, you’ll choose two technical agriculture or business courses that align with your interests. These may come from other departments or be offered within Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business.
To complete the program, you’ll also select one of three options: a creative component project, a master’s thesis, or two additional courses approved by your committee. All students will also present their work in a virtual seminar and oral defense, offering a chance to share insights with faculty, peers, and the broader academic community.

This program is open to applicants from various disciplines, including agronomy, horticulture, pest management, animal and range science, food processing and technology, agricultural education and communication, as well as agricultural economics and business. If you have relevant professional experience but your undergraduate GPA is below 3.0, you are still encouraged to apply. GRE scores are not required.
