Learn to apply information systems to your managerial decision-making and use a systems perspective to formulate, implement, evaluate, and control various functions of an organization. Optional concentrations for your MBA are offered in Health Services Management, Information Systems, and Public Utility Regulations.

The Master of Business Administration consists of 36 credit hours and does not require a thesis. This program follows a prescribed plan of 11 MBA courses and one elective in any graduate-level business course numbered 500 or above. The NMSU Global Campus online MBA program and optional concentrations no longer require specific undergraduate prerequisites or background knowledge.
New cohorts start every fall, with students progressing through the program together, completing two courses each fall, spring, and summer semester for two years. This program offers a blend of asynchronous online instruction and a live Zoom session one evening each week.
To graduate, students are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 throughout the program. Only courses completed with a C or better are counted toward the degree.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A completed bachelor’s degree
- A resume
As well as one of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree (with at least a 3.0 GPA) from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
- A graduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
- A professional certification in one of the following: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with an official copy of the certification
- A GMAT or equivalent GRE score of at least 400 that, when combined with your undergraduate GPA (GPA x 200), is greater than 1050
- At least five years of relevant, full-time, post-degree, professional work experience with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5 from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
This 100% online MBA program is open to international students. If your degree is from a college or university located outside the U.S., you must submit a GMAT or GRE test score of at least 400, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and provide a course-by-course WES evaluation of your transcripts.
