The Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Public Utility Regulation consists of 39 credit hours and does not require a thesis. This program follows a prescribed plan of 9 MBA courses and 4 Public Utility Regulation courses.
New cohorts start every fall, with students progressing through the program together. They complete two MBA courses each fall, spring, and summer semester for two years, while adding in the concentration courses throughout. This program offers a blend of asynchronous online instruction and a live Zoom session one evening each week.
To graduate, students are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 throughout the program. Only courses completed with a C or better are counted toward the degree.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A completed bachelor’s degree
- A resume
As well as one of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree (with at least a 3.0 GPA) from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
- A graduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
- A professional certification in one of the following: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with an official copy of the certification
- A GMAT or equivalent GRE score of at least 400 that, when combined with your undergraduate GPA (GPA x 200), is greater than 1050
- At least five years of relevant, full-time, post-degree, professional work experience with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5 from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
This 100% online MBA program is open to international students. If your degree is from a college or university located outside the U.S., you must submit a GMAT or GRE test score of at least 400, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and provide a course-by-course WES evaluation of your transcripts.
