Optional Concentrations for your MBA

A concentration is a collection of coursework in a specific area that is part of a degree program. MBA concentrations are optional. They are created with the approval of the NMSU Graduate School and will appear on the student's New Mexico State University transcript upon graduation.

Special tuition agreements (Western Undergraduate Exchange, Descubre, etc.) are not applicable to NMSU Global Campus programs. Course fees still apply and are charged separately. Textbooks, uniforms, equipment, etc., are additional program costs. Additional per credit costs might be charged by the program, department or college.

Please note: In addition to standard NMSU tuition cost per credit hour and fees listed above, there is an additional course fee of $250 per credit hour for participation in the MBA program. More information on scholarships and financial aid is available below.

Program Highlights and Learning Outcomes

The NMSU Global Campus MBA program assists the student (with or without a business background) to develop professional knowledge and skills in areas including marketing, management, accounting, finance, economics, information systems and business law.

Our current MBA students are employed in several industries, including school districts, national laboratories, family businesses, and non-profit organizations. Other MBA students have recently completed an undergraduate degree and want to pursue advanced study.

Highly qualified full-time faculty members teach NMSU Global Campus courses and actively engage with MBA students through synchronous online meetings in the evenings.
