Lacey calls her spouse and family her “biggest supporters,” adding that, “I’ve had to sacrifice a lot of time with them to keep up with school and work. They’ve been incredibly patient, understanding, and encouraging throughout the process. I’m also grateful for my boss, who has been a mentor to me for years and continues to motivate me and cheer me on.”

Asked what advice she would give another adult learner who’s debating whether to apply to NMSU Global Campus, Lacey said: “My biggest advice is not to let fear or timing hold you back. It’s never too late to go after your goals.
