In the online BS in Civil Engineering Technology (CET), you’ll learn by designing, building, testing, and inspecting systems — starting with your early coursework and continuing through graduation. As part of this student-centric program, faculty work closely with you in virtual classrooms and on-site labs, creating a flexible, supportive environment where you can build both technical capability and professional confidence.
During your studies, you’ll also complete a faculty-guided Senior Project where you apply civil engineering technology concepts to a real-world problem aligned with your interests. After earning your bachelor’s degree in CET, you’ll be ready to:
- Design, construct, test, and support the operation of buildings and infrastructure
- Produce and utilize construction documents
- Analyze and design systems
- Specify project methods and materials
- Perform cost estimates and analyses
- Manage technical activities in support of civil projects
