We also offer senior-level elective classes designed for students to focus on their specific areas of interest. Topics of in-depth instruction include Management for Resorts, Events or Food and Beverage Operations; Hotel Sales and Revenue Management; as well as advanced levels of core subjects such as Hotel Operations or Restaurant Management.

Program Highlights and Learning Outcomes

Students are required to have 400 hours of hospitality work experience and perform a 400-hour paid internship for academic credit as part of the bachelor's degree pathway.

Fortunately, the NMSU Global Campus HRTM program offers a big advantage: We assist our students with internships in workplaces such as the Marriott Hospitality Futures Center, student clubs, travel opportunities, and networking and job placement resources.
