Delivered entirely online, the MA in Education: Curriculum & Instruction and Multicultural Education offers a sequence of courses aimed at building understanding and skills necessary for culturally responsive teaching and leadership, culminating in an action research project. This program does not include licensure and is designed for already-licensed working educators or individuals planning to work in positions that do not require a teaching license.
Additionally, this master’s program serves as a pathway for doctoral studies in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) or Educational Leadership and Administration (ELA).

The Master of Arts in Education: Curriculum & Instruction and Multicultural Education program requires at least 30 credits of graduate coursework. This includes 7 required courses and 9-12 elective credits. Students must select one of the following minors for their elective credits:
