Required Credit Hours

  • This NMSU Global Campus program requires 33 credits of 100% online coursework.

Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment refers to taking coursework for two or more programs in the Division of Educational Leadership and Administration (ELA) simultaneously. Enrollment in one ELA program is academically challenging. That's why tudents accepted into the Master of Arts (Pre-K-12 or Higher Education), EdD, or PhD program are not allowed to take courses in another degree program concurrently.

New Mexico State University's TPAL is devoted to the preparation of master educators, administrators, and leaders for public, private, and governmental institutions. Our graduates are prepared to serve as highly qualified teachers, directors of instruction and curriculum, subject matter specialists, supervisors of student teaching, educational leaders, and university professors.

There are three Divisions within the School of TPAL:

  • Division of Educational Foundations and STEM
  • Division of Educational Leadership and Administration
  • Division of Educator Preparation
