NMSU Global Campus offers sophisticated instruction on how to use operating systems and server software, such as Linux, Apache, OpenSSL, Windows Server, Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server and languages such as C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, Python and Java. NMSU Online ICT majors learn to develop software applications and maintain technology infrastructures in a variety of settings or disciplines.

Program Highlights and Learning Outcomes

At NMSU Global Campus, our ICT students participate in hands-on projects using virtual machines and simulated networking equipment. The senior project is a student-driven project with a full project management curriculum. Besides using a Learning Management System (LMS), the ICT program possesses a bank of servers to support several Enterprise Management courses. 

Our 100% online ICT program offers two distinct Information Technology degree pathways:

  1. An academic program for undergraduate students who have completed freshman and sophomore years in a computer degree or technology-related program at NMSU or another four-year institution.
  2. An online two-year degree completion program leading to a baccalaureate degree for graduates of computer and technology-related associate degree programs at community colleges or other two-year institutions.
