At NMSU Global Campus, our ICT students participate in hands-on projects using virtual machines and simulated networking equipment. The senior project is a student-driven project with a full project management curriculum. Besides using a Learning Management System (LMS), the ICT program possesses a bank of servers to support several enterprise management courses.
We also offer sophisticated instruction on how to use operating systems and server software, such as Linux, Apache, OpenSSL, Windows Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server and languages such as C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, Python, and Java.
In Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology program, you will learn to:
- Apply core principles of systems analysis to selected business processes within an organization.
- Design selected network and cloud infrastructures associated with requirements of accepted industry ethical practices and organizational network operation.
- Implement technological solutions and develop key database models that connect with business requirements for storage, retrieval, and use of data.

The Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology program consists of 120 credits. To earn this degree, you need to complete all University degree requirements, which include General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits, with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above.

Developmental coursework will not count toward the degree requirements and/or elective credits but may be needed in order to take the necessary English and Mathematics coursework.
